Peec AI alternatives

By Matvei Belov, founder of Glowsearch · Updated

Glowsearch Lite is $19.99 a month, about a fifth of Peec AI Starter's $95. It is our recommended alternative for small businesses: your own questions from day one, repeated browser scans, an action plan and drafts.

Peec AI is a good tool. It tracks AI answers daily on a choice of assistants, with more on its bigger plans, and it's built for marketing teams and agencies. But its Starter plan is $95 a month for 50 prompts on three assistants you choose, and adding a fourth is $35 more. For one small website, that's often more than the job needs.

Here are five alternatives and what each costs.

The short version

  • Glowsearch: ours, and the lowest paid price here at $19.99 a month, saving $75 against Peec Starter. Includes an action plan and drafts. Try it for seven days for $1.
  • Otterly: daily tracking for less, with Perplexity and Copilot. $29 a month.
  • LLMrefs: lots of topics, every assistant, one price. $79 a month.
  • Profound: if you need more than Peec, not less. Custom pricing.
  • Semrush or Ahrefs: if you already pay for one.

Why people look for an alternative

  • Price. $95 a month is the entry point, and it's about $80 paid yearly. Peec's next plan is $245.
  • Three assistants. Starter covers three of ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot. Each extra one is $35 a month.
  • More data than they use. 50 prompts, three assistants, every day: about 4,500 answers a month. A small business making a few changes a month rarely acts on daily movements.
  • Numbers, then what? Peec has recommended actions, but it's built around analytics for people who know SEO. Some owners want to be told what to do next.

Glowsearch

Lite covers one website and 80 questions once a week, 40 twice a week, 25 three times or 10 every day, on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Mode, twice each per scan, in real browsers signed out from your country. Pro is $99.99 for three websites with 130 questions each once a week (or fewer, scanned more often), and adds Claude through its API on 50 questions a week per website.

The difference from Peec is what happens after the scan. Glowsearch turns each one into an action plan sorted by priority: sites and lists to get onto, Reddit and forum threads to join, pages to write or improve, wrong facts to correct and crawler fixes. A drafting button writes the email or page text for each action.

Otterly

Otterly keeps daily tracking and cuts the price. Lite is $29 a month for 15 prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Gemini and AI Mode are $9 a month each on Lite. Standard is $189 a month for 100 prompts.

Better than Peec at

  • Daily tracking for less than a third of the price
  • Perplexity and Copilot both included
  • 1,000 GEO URL audits a month

Worse than Peec at

  • 15 prompts on Lite, against Peec's 50
  • Three recommendations a week on Lite
  • Gemini and AI Mode cost $9 a month each on Lite

LLMrefs

LLMrefs has one plan at $79 a month, labelled a limited-time price. You give it keywords, and it writes up to 500 prompts from them and tracks them weekly on ChatGPT, Claude, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and others.

Better than Peec at

  • Ten times the prompts, every assistant included
  • Unlimited projects and team members
  • Cheaper

Worse than Peec at

  • Weekly, not daily
  • Prompts written from keywords rather than the exact questions you choose
  • The price is marked as limited time

Profound

If you're leaving Peec because you need more, Profound is the enterprise option. It tracks up to nine assistants daily, adds AI crawler analytics and agents that write content, and comes with SSO and dedicated support. The price is custom, through sales. There's a free 7-day trial on 50 prompts Profound chooses for you. See Profound alternatives and Profound pricing for more.

Semrush or Ahrefs

If your team already pays for Semrush or Ahrefs, check what's included before adding another tool. Semrush includes AI search tracking and custom prompts in its SEO plans, and Ahrefs includes custom prompt tracking in Brand Radar on paid plans from Lite up.

When to stay with Peec

Stay with Peec if you track many prompts across brands, countries or clients, if you need Perplexity or Copilot and daily data, or if your reports run on Looker Studio. It does those well.

Switching from Peec AI

  • Take your prompt list with you. Export your prompts and the last month of results as CSV before you cancel. The prompts are the part worth keeping; the scores won't carry over.
  • Check which prompts are real buyer questions. Peec's suggested prompts can overlap. Before you re-enter them anywhere, cut the ones that track the same thing twice and keep the questions a customer would actually ask before buying.
  • Expect different numbers. Tools differ in which assistants they ask, whether they use the real page or an API, and how many times they ask. Compare the trend in one tool over a few weeks, not one tool's score against another's.
  • Run both for a week if you can. Glowsearch's trial is 7 days for $1, on your own questions, so you can check it against your last Peec numbers before your Peec plan renews.
