Terms of service

When we say "we" or "us", we mean ResearchLnc. "The service" means the Glowsearch website, app and emails. "You" means the person or business with a Glowsearch account. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract, and use Glowsearch for a business or professional purpose.
• Give us accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Accounts are for people. Accounts created by bots or other automated means aren't allowed.

What the service does, and what it can't promise

Glowsearch asks AI assistants the questions you choose, records which businesses and pages they name, and suggests what you could change. Please keep in mind:

• AI answers change all the time. The same question can get different answers from one ask to the next, and from one person to the next. Our results are measurements of what the assistants said when we asked, not a guarantee of what anyone else will see.
• We don't control the assistants. We can't promise that following our suggestions will get you recommended, or keep you there.
• The assistants can change without notice. If one changes its pages or becomes unavailable, results from it may be delayed, incomplete, or stop until we adapt.
• Suggestions and drafts are written with AI. They can be wrong. Check them before you publish or send anything.

Your sites and content

• Only add websites you own, or that you're allowed to track on someone else's behalf.
• Your data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it, and to read your site's public pages, only as needed to run the service for you.
• You're responsible for what you do with our drafts. If you send an outreach email or post a reply in a forum, follow the law (including anti-spam rules) and that site's rules.

Fair use

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything illegal, harmful or deceptive, or to harass anyone;
• try to get around plan limits or rate limits, or use the service to scrape websites or run AI models for purposes other than its own;
• resell, sublicense or offer the service to others without our written agreement;
• probe, overload or break the service, or copy or reverse-engineer it.

Payment and plans

• Payments are handled by Creem, our reseller and merchant of record. Creem's terms also apply to your purchase, and Creem adds sales tax or VAT where it applies.
• Every plan starts with a 7-day trial for $1. Unless you cancel before it ends, your plan then renews automatically every month at its listed price, until you cancel.
• You can change plans any time from your billing page. An upgrade applies straight away and you pay the difference for the rest of the period; a downgrade refunds it.
• If a payment fails, we'll keep your plan running for a short while and try again. If it still fails, scans stop until it's paid.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable, except as described here or where the law says otherwise. If something went wrong on our side, such as scans that didn't run or a charge you didn't expect, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we'll make it right, including a refund where that's fair.

Cancelling and ending your account

• You can cancel any time from your billing page. Your plan keeps running until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• You can delete a site at any time, which deletes its data. To delete your whole account, write to us and we'll delete it as described in our privacy policy.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close an account for any other reason, we'll refund the unused part of the current period.

Changes to the service and prices

We're always improving Glowsearch, so features will change, and sometimes we'll retire one. If we change prices for existing customers, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before your bill changes.

Ours and yours

The service, its design and its code belong to us. Your data and your content belong to you. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

Other services

Glowsearch depends on services we don't control, including the AI assistants themselves. We aren't responsible for those services, their answers or their availability.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no warranties beyond what these terms say, including that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will get you particular results.

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the service, such as content you published or emails you sent, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, and its courts settle any dispute, unless the law where you're based gives you the right to go to your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll email account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms. If we don't enforce part of these terms, we haven't given up the right to do so later.
